ABOUT ME

I'm Dr. Hailey B. Smith
Your therapist for life's toughest battles and hard transitions
As a work-from-home mom and wife, I understand the challenges of juggling family responsibilities while often putting your own needs aside. This personal journey inspired me to offer counseling services to those struggling with finding a balance between family life and self-care. I’m passionate about helping individuals and couples navigate life transitions, relationship issues, family-of-origin dynamics—including setting healthy boundaries—parenting challenges, and maternal and postpartum concerns. My goal is to help you find the balance and harmony you deserve in your life.
My clinical experiences focuses on supporting clients of various racial, ethnic, economic, religious, and LGBTQIA+ backgounds in a nonjudgmental, safe, and empathetic environment. Your safety in our therapeutic relationship is my top priority and I will strive to create a space where you can freely share your concerns. I believe in the power of collaboration and aim to empower you throughout your therapeutic journey.
Thank you for allowing me be part of your mental health journey. I’m honored to learn more about you and look forward to helping you navigate life's challenges and achieve personal growth.

My Approach
How I can Help
In my approach to therapy using Relational Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), I focus on the dynamic between thought patterns, emotions, and behaviors, while emphasizing the importance of the therapeutic relationship. By building a strong, trusting connection, I create a safe space where you can feel understood and supported. Together, we identify and challenge negative thought patterns and unhelpful beliefs that may be affecting relationships and overall well-being.

I believe that humor can be a powerful tool in therapy to help create a relaxed, safe, and open environment. I use humor to build rapport and help clients gain perspective on their struggles. It’s not about making light of serious issues, but about creating space for connection, easing tension, and fostering a sense of hope and resilience as we work through challenges together.
I am here to help you navigate life's struggles by providing a supportive and compassionate space where challenges can be addressed with understanding and practical strategies. Whether you're facing relationship issues, personal transitions, or emotional roadblocks, I work collaboratively with you to explore solutions, build resilience, and find balance, so you can move forward with confidence and clarity.
